Music tells stories. 

Hani Hooper grew up playing instruments, surrounded by music.
Since leaving London College of Communication with a BA in Filmmaking, he combined his love for music and film, to pursue composition and sound design. He is currently composing for film, TV and other experiential design.

Music has the ability to convey the full spectrum of human emotion and with his work he aims to do just that.

Hani explores the tension between intimacy and alienation, harmony and conflict. 

At the beginning of 2023, Hani succeeded as a finalist in First Artist Management’s Composer Mentorship Programme.

He is currently working on short films funded by BFI and Screen Scotland.
